@BestCards
I can understand your fear of the 'other', but then Gimmel joining with him puts them in the same camp, does it not? Or is Bennet simply evil unless it's politically expedient to join with him?

Don't forget, Gimmel and Shas begged him to join with them, and not Lapid. Why would they have wanted to join with such a person? They should remain far from evil.

He became evil (more like letting everyone know) when rejected just that.
I was rooting for JH in the elections. I and most others didn't know their true colors. Half of my family are DL and they're just as appalled as I.

But they ran on a joint list with him yesterday in a few cities.
Maybe he did tshuva on Monday, thus allowing the rabbanim to allow the joint list?

Hate?  No.

Hate is what corrupts the civil dialogue in E"Y. Name calling and hate won't solve any issues.  Learn some history my friend, history of the holy land the last time this many Jews (also of diverse opinions) lived there together.  Fight, hate.  Very productive.
I know, you'll go blame it on your "gedolim"...
Oy, I hate (pun intended) when I agree with you. But yes, well said.
And @Best Cards I wasn't attacking you-it was genuinely hard to read your post without punctuation.

If you want to counter a gadol batorah, at least bring an opposing gadol batorah with a counter opinion.

That's how it was in Judaism since forever. That's yiddishkeit.

Bennett listens to a rav?
Walking in public on the street holding hands with his wife, what I saw. That's frum or DL?
His wife is supposedly secular, while he's supposedly a BT from reform. How does such a marriage work exactly.

Yes, I'm also attacking his personal integrity and personal life because so many DL identify with him.

What exactly is the issur of holding your wife's hand in public? (unless you know his wife was a nidah???)
That's the example you bring to say someone is not shomer torah umitzvos?

Not all branches of JH are of Lapid-Bennet cronies. There were many nice people in mafdal. Bennett happened to hijack the party. I know many DL that hate Bennett for the same reason we do. Many branches have nothing to do with his leadership.

It's more of a symptom.
And don't make yourself temimusdig. How many frum people do that. And you can ask your rav why it's highly improper.

I don't think that would be appropriate as he happens to do it.

Nobody hated Bennet before that. All started after that. So your point is pointless.

The elections yesterday occured after the national elections. So clearly, the parties willing to share a list with him didn't feel the same way as ya'll, unless you want to tell me that they were willing to sacrifice what they believe in for political power.
(And you know what, I'd agree with that.)

And with that, I'm out. My wife needs my help as she sands the walls, and we can all agree that listening to the rebetzin takes precendence over endless Israeli politics.
:)

Was it paskened that it's a mitzvah to hate him? I'd assume not, b/c if so, then our spiritual leaders in Gimmel and Shas wouldn't have joined with him during the elections. Ma'aseh harav.
wasnt he called עמלק?

The kiruv in Israel isn't done by the mizrachists that opposed Abutbol. The kiruv in Israel is done by the litvish and the Belzer for instance.

Bennett and his cronies do reverse kiruv.
Right, everyone knows the Belzers are known for their Kiruv, just ask any chiloni, I'm sure Belz will come to mind ??? .

Of course MO's don't do any Kiruv, that's how Bennet became a BT, cuz Belz brought him in...
In fact, here's this video just released for this week.

What exactly makes him a Ba'al Teshuva? that he only texts and posts on FB on Shabbas but doesn't take calls?

??? Since when did that happen?  At least I was unaware of that.
I see you'd do very good at Kiruv.  Even if he does text c"v, better he should go all out and be oiver issurim d'oraysa to prove to you that he's an undercover chiloni?  Of course, his whole becoming BT was a bluff.  It was a grand plan to exterminate Chareidim (r"l).  ::)
And still he decided to go with Lapid, and turn away the Chareidim....

That's poltics buddy, unfortunately UTJ has also done anything to get into coalitions, including aligning with the left.  Except that when it's done back to them they cry like babies.
Again, not all branches of mafdal are Bennett cronies. He's very new.

So the whole time you constantly make blanket statements of hate against Mizrachi etc., now you say only applies to Mr. Bennet?!
Who you kidding man?  Your'e so brainwashed with your hate, you can't even figure out who and what you hate.
So I have an idea, STOP HATING!  (espescially your fellow Jews)
So, you're gonna swipe the Gedolim card now?!

You write that as if the beis hamikdash was destroyed due to hate.
But this is a GOOD hate. A healthy hate. A religiously mandated hate.
Ask you Rav.
LOL
yes he was there.
Watch the video of רב אזרחי making the ברכה http://www.kikarhashabat.co.il/%D7%9E%D7%A8%D7%98%D7%99%D7%98-%D7%94%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%9B%D7%94-%D7%A9%D7%9C-%D7%94%D7%92%D7%A8%D7%91%D7%9E-%D7%90%D7%96%D7%A8%D7%97%D7%99.html

You can see רב שטיינמן answering אמן

(I am surprised ywn and matzav didn't pick up the video.  It's pretty geshmak)
Wow, it's always fun watching R' Ezrachi, great show-man.
He's very entertaining, I feel like I'm in Vilna when watching him :D
Greatest is when he's with his talmidim, love those clips!

They didn't hear about Belz, but they have heard of Tzohar (the religious one), Arachim and Hidabroot.
Hint: 2 of the above are Belzer organizations.

Zamir Cohen (Hidabroot) became a Belzer?!
And how much of an impact do you think they have already?!
Of course even if they brought back one Yid, it's all worth it..

I don't know if you know, but the Belzer Ruv founded it. Not all employees are Belzers.
And yeah, they have no effect....
