I guess it might be typical of some online forums, it seems (rough estimate) that 95% of the posts here are by 5% of the users... (over half the users have <2 posts)...

If you're referring to edits, then yes. You can edit a post within 3 minutes without it showing that the post was edited.

I don't think forums do that.

From the usernames it seems like many are lurkers. I'm sure if you gave me access to the activity database I'd find lots of activity from members with zero posts.
