Tried again and I was able to get past the flight selection screen after all. The weird thing this time is that the miles they show on after flight selection (60K) are NOT the same as on the date or flight selection screen (50K). The return flight on flight selection showed as 35K vs. 25K. I even went back and resubmitted the flight search and it didn't change. Any clues? (I tried to add screen shots but it seems like it's not working for me.)

I only transfer when i have my flights chosen already with the final price.

You can always transfer more if you need (and have) more. But you should never transfer until you have the exact flights and price nailed down.

It comes up on ita software however I'm unable to search it on the flying blue website. Anr doesn't come up on the Belgium airport lists. How do I book it?

25,000 miles RT BOS-EUR (which presumably will still include TLV) might be a good deal, if the YQ is manageable. Any idea how much they'll charge for YQ?

Depends on the airline. IIRC ~200 EUR RT search their website and find out

availability is wide open, either way its not such a good deal in the winter, it has YQ

It's the lowest mileage rate, but "cheapest" is a tricky word that covers miles, YQ, taxes etc so I'm not sure about that and also largely depends on how YOU value the points in question.

Just my numbers: I checked 1/27-2/1, which was 25k+$240. The same flights would've been $820 cash. That means $580 for 25k points, 1.92 cpp. A summertime itinerary 8/17-8/25 was 50k+$231. The same (alitalia) flights were $1595 cash. That means $1364 for 50k points, 2.73 cpp in Y.
