Then like I said, sell it to me, its worth $50 to me.
Both for the aps you can run on it with WIFI and for the ability to attach it to a low rate service like ringplus

the cs at sprint are the most unimpowered reps i have ever ever dealt with and they send you from division to division . i regret dealing with those idiots .

I repeat my offer, if anyone is tired of dealing with sprint reps and is thinking of returning their phone, please just keep it, cancel the service, and sent it to me.
I will pay the $50 monthly fee you incur, its worth it for the phone!

For those having issues canceling, if you port out your number it will cancel automatically and immediately.
the best option would probably be to port to the T Mobile Sims, however if you don't have one but have a spare sprint phone (not in service), you can port to ting and put the service on a spare phone. If you don't use the voice/text/data it's only $6/month to have the line.

It seems that this is a huge YMMV situation!

After HUCAing for a while, I called +18553194426,  got transferred to account services (based out of new York - random note), spoke to guy named ben, and he canceled all C 3 of my lines from 3 different accounts effective today, In one 24 minute call, and he told me that he took off all of the charges on each account, but couldn't take off the last $1.50 on each account due to some "communications charge"  and he gave me confirmation numbers for each one!

Yet when I check in my account I still see a balance for around $44 - but no phone number or device attached to it......?

 For all those that received a bill even thought they told you that they canceled effective immediately, I just spoke to account services, and they told me that although I have a bill for $44 and change, I only have to pay $1.50, and that I have a pending account credit for the remaining balance, and that it will clear within a week or two, and not to worry

I don't remember exactly how it was with my first phone, but how long after the cancellation call does it take for the line to disappear from the account?

Not very long, forsure within a half a day.
