i called sprint as you go and tried to cancel my order, they transferred me to billing and orders and they said that since it had already shipped they cant cancel it and what i need to do is reject the ups delivery. so i called again and asked NOT to be transferred to billing so they transferred me to cancellation and i asked the nice rep not to transfer the order rather to cancel the phone activation so "that i can have the option to activate at a later date" and he went ahead and did that without issue. below is the confirmation email i received:

I wanted to wait until ups delivered my phone to cancel but it only came at 5:30 on erev Shabbos.  I longed in tonight and I see my bill is 58.59. 

Any guesses what will happen Monday?

i just got off the phone.  She insisted that they don't prorate at all and I can use the phone for the next month but I have to pay the bill.  Finally I told her that it sounds a bit extreme, after all I haven't even opened the box.  She put me on hold and and came back and told me the whole thing was cancelled and I owe nothing

2 lines I canceled Friday and they told me today is the billing cycle and will not be charged my 3rd line I tried today sofar no luck

I'm having the same problem, it seems like the pay as you go cancellation dept. is closed on sunday so they transfer you to the regular account services dept.

ETA: agent insisted its all one dept that takes care of postpaid and PAYG.

ime yes. Take the order number and check the status on sprint site which will give you a tracking number.

Wow, I'm on my 5th HUCA, all say cancellation won't be effective till 11/24 and i'm being charged for this month. Two of the agents (after being pushed) said I could cancel now but would have to return the phone.
