Problem With Mass storage On BB Bold

To all you Blackberry guys how may have a clue: I'm having a problem where when I connect my BB to the Desktop application I get a message that I need to turn on Mass Storage to use media sync. Only thing is that mass storage is already set to on. I did a GIYF search but could not find a solution. Additionally, I'm running very low on application memory with only 13 MG free, while deice memory has plenty at 854 MG free. I have a feeling these two problems might be related to one another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on AT&T though, and out of warranty (still under Amex warranty...)

I had this problem with a refurb. And I downloaded a file from pinstack it helped.

My phone is also a refurb. Do you remember which file it was?

Found it. Fixed the memory problem, but now I have a problem syncing my device.
