The bottom line is that everything you say is false. There are all these people that are living on township property that are a hazard to themselves and the surrounding community.

Please stop trying to convince us that you are saving us money. I hardly think all the services the town provides you without any of you paying taxes are saving lakewood a penny.

Really. You're citing the least objective source possible. Drug busts, fires, and deaths happen every day, in every community but don't get reported in the news. The Lakewood Scoop is run by the same special interest groups that run the municipal government and will dig up whatever they can to paint TC in a negative light. Why else would they focus on these events specifically in Tent City?

The lakewood scoop reports community deaths all the time. They also post most local fires, and most of (the publicly known) local drug busts.

So, once again, you're posting false info.

I understand these types of things happen everywhere. Is the info in the links correct? Did these things happen in TC?

And lastly, how does reporting all the issues from TC take away from the dangers that have happened there? You say they 'dig up whatever they can to paint TC in a negative light'. These stories that i posted happened in tent city. period. No matter what agenda you think they have, they are dangers to themselves and the surrounding areas.

At no point did I state that reporting the issues that happened in TC "takes away from the dangers that have happened there."

But if one follows your logic, we can just as easily state that downtown Lakewood and the home where the child was burned are just as dangerous as Tent City because bad things happened in both places.

A fire in the woods can, god forbid, burn down much more than "just" the entire tent city.

This is what i responding to. You are claiming that the incidents are blown out of proportion on TLS. I was factually pointing out that your assertion was incorrect. TLS reports all major news stories and it seems that many come front tent city.

One more thing. How can you say its not a hazard? Please show me the C of A for the tents. (not to mention that builders in lakewood need to bend over backwards to pass inspection but TC gets a waiver

).

If thelakewoodscoop focused on TC and reported everytime the Police department, Fire dept or EMS was at TC, they would have a lot more stories!!
How many times a day are the police or EMS called there?? A lot more often then your typical household I could garuntee that!
