A night in MEL is plenty.  More than that can be better utilized in Tasmania, Ayers Rock, etc.
So does that make sense for a two week trip or try and fit something else in?

I'd rather spend 2 nights in Tasmania and see the penguins there.

Hyatt at Burswood Casino is prob the best.

Perth is possibly the most beautiful yet most boring city on earth. Nice Jewish community though

will be flying with 3 kids under 9

we have family in melbourne and sydney.

we are not the major tourist people, running around like crazy... but def enjoy seeing things.

since its the summer, i am pretty flexible on the trip length

how long do i need there? and where should i go, if i am on a budget?
