Seems crazy to me, especially since you've done SYD already...
Although you seeemingly have a babysitter. Makes it a little more palatable.

Yup, that's how I'm leaning. If the kids were older I'd be pretty gung-ho, but we've done the major highlights and the kids won't enjoy it any more than a closer city.

As much as it'd be great to take advantage of the AA space, I think it's a bit much with kids that age and the fact that you've already been there.
