In general I have had good luck with upgrades with Platinum status. Which hotel specifically?

most IHG properties will only upgrade Spire, not PLAT.

So it's the ambassador with it? I have Platinum now. I have a multi night stay in London in the summer. The gaurunteed ugrades are tempting.

Wow did Autocorrect mess this up.
Is the ambassador worth the 200$?
If I'm staying in a intercontinental for 2 nights, 100/night for an upgrade could be worth it.

general rule with these things is, don't call too much attention to it and they shouldn't bother you
