Huh?
I compared it with leasing and I'd have to have a head of cabbage to have taken the lease on that deal.
Exactly they are offering it to people that lease ;)

correct, but don't say that ur leasing a car with zero down.
You know, if you would get rid of the zero down, and put $ down, ur monthly payment would be less? Its all written in a way to get you in to the dealership. Zero down means higher monthly payment, and $ down means lower. The value of the car doesn't change.
Yup, the goal is to get zero down AND low monthly payments.

To sum it up:
If you can afford to BUY a 30k car, but you want the convenience of leasing, you can only afford to LEASE a 25k car.

Sometimes a deal will pop up and it makes sense to lease, but generally it doesn't.

The numbers are made up, but the idea should be the correct most of the time.
Live forever or die trying.

of course. You gotta pay taxes and registration when buying also.
When you buy the pain is spread across a longer period of ownership.

IME if you know how to negotiate a new car, the spread between a lightly used and new car will not be great enough to warrant buying the used

So buy an 8 year warranty for $1,000. Still come out way ahead.

Leasing is great, but don't pretend that 99% of people don't pay a premium for it.  And it comes with headaches like scratches that an owner wouldn't care about but the leasing company will.  And limited miles means some people wind up parking their leases early.

Honda has a 5k waiver -it is pretty standard.
