I once saw a Mazda3 advertised for $49/month with $0 down.

Went to test-drive it and it came out to $250 after all the scams were stripped out.

Just an example that's close. obviously the frum dealers don't tack on that stuff. And we don't pay it either. If someone is really interested call a local  lease company.
You always pay taxes and bank fee up front though, its around 1200.

Remember in the car business EVERYTHING is negotiable!

It's not close, it's a pure scam.  You can make it be $0 if you tack on enough terms.

OK.
Facts are that one can easily get one for less than 250 0 down besides bank fee and taxes. -Not from planet Honda and not from Honda.com either.

Get the most stripped down version? I'm sure you can.  Just as you can buy it on the cheap as well because nobody wants it.

I'm not so sure you can. That car sells for $26k. No way a lease is $240

A deal is a deal. Some here are losing their faith in good deals.

Yup, this thread has officially jumped the shark.

I gave a real concrete example for a 14 Ody.
Unless you have a real life quote including all fees that we can use to compare people need to stop bringing in bubbe maisos.
