AAA no fee Visa Gift Cards for members

No cash advance fee on any purchase, multiple banks.

That said, I went over some limit and am now banned from buying these.  Oh well.

Brooklyn location told me that amex treats these as cash advance, so I got 3k on a visa by Chase.
They asked for membership id card

I went back to get some more. They swiped card and actually told me that I bought too many and they can't sell me any more! (They have a record of all my purchases so they must have swiped it those other times as well

The terms for the Visa gift card [section 3 (b)] state that the Card cannot be returned for a cash refund. However, along with the card, AAA gave me a cardboard card (to put the gift card in when gifting it) and envelope. On the cardboard at the bottom of the fee chart, it shows the fee for a "Refund Check" is "Free". Who wants to be bold and request a refund check? Seems much less of a hassle than BB!

I overheard the AAA rep turning away the person next to me because he had bought too many. She was explaining to him that it's a rolling limit within a 30 day period. So you're probably not permanently banned. Just wait 30 days from your last purchase and you should be able to buy another $7500 worth. (Of course, by then there will be a fee, but if they have another promotion, don't despair.)

Remember that these cards are also sold to non-members, for a slightly higher fee. Furthermore, the order form requests all sorts of personal information such as name, address, driver license number and date of birth. Any of those details could be used to track your gift card purchases. Considering that, another membership probably will not help raise the limit. (Besides, membership costs $.)

I have seen by tmobile store that they have a tmobile visa prepaid card that you can purches in 500 increments and pay for with a credit card and the upside is if youre a tmobile customer you dont pay purchase fee and you can withdraw the money from an atm with no fee as well.

Not sure why you posted this here. I believe someone started a thread on tmobile card. It's cash only. There is one possible way to MS with this card: If you can find a store that has "reloadiit" cards and accepts CC.
