Confirmed (from a Cnet video review) that the price will be $249.99 with a $100 MIR.
IMHO you're better off going with the evo for resale. It's still a way better phone and still in back-order (which makes it hot to sell quick), but that's just my quick opinion.

I'm thinking I'll wait and see what price the Epic is fetching on fleabay, or is that a bad idea because the Evo will be back in stock and/or have alternatives?

I just looked on ebay, Evo is going for ~$500, time to call BB and see if they have any in stock :D

(considering I got mine for $199 (instant rebate at BB) and Sprint granted my $100 MIR as well, I'm going to try for two more :D )

The EVO is better and, in my opinion will continue being more sought-after.
