I didn't open yet, but I have a savings account that pays competitive interest with them. Opened before became capitalone. Transfering back and forth with your regular bank and their account was very easy. Takes 2-3 days until available. I have little money at present in account and don't look at it. So I can't say if interest rate is good, but it used to be. The checking account also seems to earn some interest, whatever that's worth. It would seem quite easy to make the 3 person 2 person payments so I don't think there's anything to lose

Checking account is a hard credit pull fyi... In July there were some much higher offers on the checking/savings combo.

Savings account rate is .75% which isn't bad these days. Transfer function works quick and flawlessly. Great addition in the MS game to move funds around w/no fees.

Just opened. Since I already have savings account, it was a snap. But they didn't let me open a separate account for my wife since she is listed on the savings account.

You can also make $20 for each person you refer and sign up,up to 1k! On the menu there is a refer a friend tab. If you get someone to sign up it is also easier to carry out the 3 person to person transactions and it occurs immediately.

I gave been using them for years, I have a 5000 credit limit on my checking account so I could almost never bounce a check. I just home capital one doesn't screw it up. They just added the option to deposit checks via capital one bank atms

I just opened a 360 account - they claim to have no foreign ATM withdrawal fees except for what may be charged by the card issuer (Mastercard). Does anyone have any experience in practice - specifically from Israel - withdrawing cash from an ATM? Do they give the market exchange rate and do they take a %?

(In Israel something went totally haywire with cashing checks about a month or two ago, and since then everyone is looking for alternatives - no change place will change checks for less than 2% any more, and only open checks - others are taking 4%. This seems like a viable solution for up to $1000 a day if there really are no fees)

Israel no. Elsewhere yes - they're as good as their word.

On a separate note: they have holiday promos and I think something is coming up for Black Friday.
