I do, but let's say Switzerland /Germany would be the best place to pick it up.

If you are in Lakewood, The Westview Shop is having a raffle for a free Bosch this month as part of their monthly raffle series. No purchase necessary

I believe it was discussed here somewhere... Any reason someone would prefer the plastic bowl on the Bosch over the metal? Tia

No reason to prefer plastic over metal for the Bosch other than price.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've been using the plastic for quite some time now. (I never got around to buying the metal bowl)

There are two types of stainless steel bowls. One has a dome in the middle just like the plastic one the second one has no dome and the dough hook attaches to the bottom. The one without the dome can hold a lot more dough and in my opinion mixes better.

The bowl without the center piece is better for dough. The one with the center piece is better for cakes and cookies. Ideally you should have both bowls

IIRC there was something about one not fitting for certain model.

I know on the kitchen aid mixtures they give you the same 2 bowls one being metal an one plastic.
