Not nearly that many. Of the 3 separate PNRs I have, the most complicated has CX and JL, that's it. The others (SQ and CA) are stand alone.

That's likely the issue. You'll have more "success" the farther in advance you book, the more airlines, and the more segments.

After three schedule changes, four reissues (just today), some HUCA, some sob story, and some snake oil sales, I've extended my trip to add 2 more actual days in BOB, upgraded the first leg JFK-LAX on DL from Y to lie-flat J (even though it was only peak award; had a supervisor agree to override), got rebooked in revenue J, and changed the MEL-SYD segment to allow me a night in the PH SYD.

Thus marks my finest (and most difficult) award booking yet.

Yup, that's what we've planned. GOR and Grampians + Shabbas in MEL or PH, then a day in SYD.

No wonder everyone thinks that you don't do any work.... Or perhaps you just don't sleep?

I actually got 9/10. Did not get the cheapest AA redemption was to Central America. That'll teach me to start planning a trip that direction.

Spent my time since I woke up this morning reading this thread. Just finished. What a ride it was.

Summary:

- One awesome trip to JNB
- At least 60 pages of trip planning to Austrialia/New Zealand
- Same 60 pages of Dan leading his rebuttal on AJK not allocating close to enough time to any of his destinations/plans/routes
- Round II of Dan vs AJK with The fierce fight between listing CX F higher in the rankings
- Still not having figured out a way to squeeze EY F on the A380 in somewhere else
- Seemingly missing several TRs people are waiting on since 2013
- AJK's favorite traveling currency being/having been UA pre deval

Questions:

-Why is AJK not planning trips to the other African countries?
-Considering time restraints wondering why he never goes on a multi-city Euro trip? (Fun hotels, flights and activities)
-Why he decided to specifically make an SQ Excel chart for best value and not for other high end carriers.

However, after just having landed in JFK after BOB/MEL/SYD we just sat down to dinner at Kasai, the new hibachi place in Brooklyn. So I'll have to ponder the answers while I watch them cook.
