1. EWR-HNL is one long-haul.
2. You bought a seat for the baby, that's more than a world of difference.
3. Up to about 6 months old you can bring kids anywhere on any schedule, they don't know the difference.

It seems like you have options LHR-DXB and DXB-SYD as well as LHR-DOH and DOH-SYD, so why are you insisting on the last flight of DOH-DXB (or DXB-DOH)?

1/2. Okay, okay. I just wanted to publicly give my kid props :).
3. My daughter is 8 months. She definitely knew the difference with the time change. Was super thrown off by the time we got to the hotel lol.

Yup. Then the question becomes should I just do LHR-DOH-SYD all on QR F...

Perhaps I should just bring the nanny in Y and have her deal with him? :)

EY F on the way home. MEL-AUH-JFK. But I'm not sure what exactly they do... They're not gonna take care of my kid for 14 hours while I sleep... I dont think.
