Had to travel for work anyway.

I spent over $1250, but I got just a bit more than 90k.

I checked in a dozen pieces at JFK (where there's no conveyor belt by the mosaic check in counter) the other day. The look on the desk agents face when I told her how much I was checking in was pretty funny.

The one hiccup was that I got booted fro pre-check when I realized I left my DL at home. After looking at other forms of ID, they put me in regular screening, and then additional screening. Gosh I hate regular screening, and I can't remember if I've ever had to go through "additional" before, but, wow, is it irritating. Pat down, laptop swipe, shoes swipe, open bag swipe.

What a difference a day (and some confidence/acting like you belong) makes.

Unlike yesterday, I didn't only realize I left my license at home in front of TSA, thereby bringing to his attention I didn't have my DL. Today, I simply said, "good morning," and handed him my federal court and new york state court IDs (each has a picture) with a "doing OK, today?"

He said, "yes," looked at the IDs, put them under UV light, and said have a nice flight.

MCO-EWR oversold by 3 or 4.

Offered to take the last seat in F on an AA flight a couple hours later and $500, but she couldn't book it in F, but because "I tried to help," she op-upped me to F.

I'll take it, and let someone else fly back tomorrow (first available flight).
