Jigged an address that starts with an i using an l.

Forgot that labels are capitalized, so now my item is going to 18 LDAHO DRIVE, instead of 18 IDAHO DRIVE. Let's see how smart FedEx is...

Pretty costly mistake, yesterday I booked a Frontier ticket for Friday morning thinking I have 24hrs to cancel and now I’m trying to cancel and I find out that the DOT 24hr cancellation policy is only if the ticket is booked a week out 🤦‍♂️

Trusted an OfficeMax cashier to be competent.

There's no OfficeMax or Office Depot near me, so when I went to a city that has one, I tried to buy three $200 Grocery Everywhere Visa gift cards, which have a lower fee than the regular Visa gift cards. (I should have gone last week when there was no fee, but I could not have known about the sale when I booked my flight.) I wanted to pay $100 with an Amex that has the $15 back offer and $110 on each of three Freedom cards that have the 10% Chase offer and the remainder with a Chase ink that has the 5% back Chase offer in addition to the usual 5X points. I swiped the Amex first, but because the cashier did not properly set up the partial payment, it charged the entire transaction to the Amex. The manager insisted they have no way to reverse gift card sales.

That's what this thread is for. Not for "solutions" which can cause more harm, just to acknowledge that we're all human, sometimes make mistakes. Admit and move on.

If you didn't checkout under an account, I may be missing something, but don't really see any downside to trying a dispute.
If they respond that you still got the merchandise that was purchased, you can offer to have them charge another card, but the original charge was still unauthorized.

They did scan my Office Depot rewards number. I can see the purchase on https://www.officedepot.com/orderhistory/orderHistoryList.do

Made a large purchase, due to conversation rates would save a a couple hundred dollars charging it in euro instead of dollars...used the ink unlimited instead of the reserve (last 4 digits are very similar, and with cc# saved to computer, didnt realize)
Now I have this hefty foreign transaction fee
