Not sure that it is better.
You only see the new posts, and have to 'hold kup' as you dont see the entire thread.
You also dont need to keep opening up threads.

By far the stupidest thing I've done is to open 2 Us Airways cards and a M&M card and close them all.
Every time I apply now for a card I get an automatic denial when my Score is 768 at least. The recon dept. tells me the computer denies you since you've opened 3 cards and closed them out.

That will be with out a hard pull? Also I have closed these between 3-6 months ago.

Took me over a year to realize that on DDF (on computer) you can click "New" to go directly to where you were up to in the thread (I'd always been confused why tapatalk was more convenient).

I don't think a reopen causes a hard pull. But even if it does, it may be worth it to get back in Barclay's good graces. You can use that day for an app-o-ramma.

I wouldn't wait past 6 months of card closing. No empirical information or experience, just a feeling. Anyone else?

The 3 card rule is over lifetime? I can't imagine there's no one who was able to churn more than 3 cards.

But they leave one card open to have a history with the bank.
