Booked a business ticket using points on a Amex consumer plat instead of BP, (luckily) realized within 24 hours, cancelled. But now I'm going to have to fight with them to convert the refund back to MR. :/

Should be pretty quick for them to reverse it. Just give them a quick call.

I did. They told me that they're refunding the money and then I should call back when the refund goes thru in 3-5 biz days to convert to MR

Re-activated my Clear account with wrong visa card, called to have them cancel so i can pay with Amex platinum. They canceled and they gave me 1 month for free so i can add a new credit card to my account (now membership expires 1/13/2023 )

You can chat them and they'll change your billing date to now so you'll get billed in December if u want

Called Marriott for redemption from DW's account.

When rep said that the account is marked as Female, I just retorted, oh that's a mistake (could have said as in the past that it is DW's account and I'm calling for her - they would either let it happen or I would need to HUCA - but it was too close to Shabbos to deal with that). Now they want me to send a copy of ID.

Am I better off:

• fessing up saying what actually happened, providing DW's ID and proof that we're married (was trying to transfer from her account to mine);
• Photoshop;
• Attempting to transfer from her Marriott account back to SPG account, and then do SPG to SPG transfer (if I need to, as I'm not sure I can take advantage of United promo before United chart devaluation at this point, taking account all needed transfers)?
