Anyone has recent experience with BofA recon? Friend of mine is being told they can't recon, got nowhere with multiple HUCAs and two supervisors.

Those are all credit analyst numbers.  They might be only for exisiting accounts, but try them all anyways.

I was successful in March, first account with them. Not sure which number I called.

Had success on the first try with the first number today. Very easy going rep. (I had written 10,000 instead of 100,000...) :-)

Anybody getting approved for alaska cards these days? My wife and I both have above average credit scores and never got this card or any BOA card before and cant get approved bec of too many inquiries in a short period of time. I dont get it, they used to give out tons of these cards and now I cant even get 1?

They also, according to DoC, switched to using Sagestream (previously IDR, the same credit bureau that U.S. Bank Uses) which is very, very cautious of lots of inquires and new accounts. Does Alaska business cc have a different recon #,  agent says they cant look up applications for 7-10 days after submitting.

Alaska is still possible (5 cards with bofa here) just got approved for the alaska 30k +100$ credit, not instant no need for recon, 2 days got auto approved but they gave a platinum plus instead of the signature which defeats the purpose bec you dont get the bonus, so im thinking to recon for the signature to get the 30k bonus... is that possible any dp?

I applied for NEA, MTA, and Alaska. Approved for NEA, but not the others. I tried recon, and asked to move over credit. They were very nice, but said they can't do it. Any suggestions? Thanks.


BTW, NEA/MTA has a nice bonus now. I wonder why there's nothing about it on DDMS (or even DDF, unless I missed it).
