Q about hacking

i bought a cheap ticket jfk-tlv
and tlv-jfk-toronto
i have a few more hours before my 24 hour cancellation ends
so my Q is . will i be able to claim, my baggage in jfk and leave or they will send it to toronto ?

Mentioned many times, you will need your luggage in JFK.
