How to get to Teterboro Airport without having to leave your car there? Bus number 161, leaves from Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd street) in the direction of Paterson, NJ about every 15 minutes. The duration from 42nd street to RT-46 AT INDUSTRIAL AVE/HOLISTER RD (Teterboro Airport) is roughly 28 minutes, and cost $4.25, Child fare is $1.90.

If be interested in the Morristown one. I know it's short but the 2 advantages are A. I know people there B. It's only a train/car ride away.

That's fine with me, although I don't know why knowing someone there makes a difference. I may be able to bring DW along for the ride, which would help with the count.

Train is good. Car has the same issue discussed upthread (i.e. how do you get back to your car once you land in the other airport). Ya'alili pointed out that public transportation is really the only thing that makes sense. I imagine there's an NJT that goes to Morristown. (There's a bus that goes to Teterboro.)

Any idea what airport is New York, NY?

I don't know which airport it is. There is a direct train from Penn station to Morristown.

ETA It helps that I know people there because I would go in the morning and come back in the evening.

Not sure I'm going to be available anymore today. Sorry guys. I know this is so hard to arrange. Again, I'm off for most of the time between Christmas and New Years and can try to help get one of these together then. Just thought a Sunday might work out well also, but now it's probably not going to happen.
