You can also become a member for $7K and get the flight for free. The benefit would be that your next flight would probably also be free.

You are probably right. The benefit here would really be to pay for membership, get the flight for free, and then have membership for other free flights throughout the year. Honestly, I don’t think this is a great deal. I am posting just in case someone is interested in this leg and flying private, and is willing to pay.

Im still wondering if its easy to split membership a few ways. Id take a bunch of these trips for 1-2k, but not 7k.

I asked whether I can split membership amongst other people (i.e. other family members). I have not heard back from them yet.
