CMIIW, but I think Zalc meant with the Prestige benefit of 3 free rounds of golf annually.

You must book it over the phone with the prestige concierge, they can be reached directly at 561-922-0158. The concierge will usually just go on the hotel's website and book the hotel on your behalf. I find it easier to go through the booking process first myself and then just feed them the dates and other info.

Citi has become such a joke. Retention team isn't available, and nobody knows what time you can call in, to speak to them.

I read somewhere that Prestige reps can give you retention offers, no need to speak to the non existent retention dept.

Prestige rep. said let me transfer you to the dept. Then comes back and says that their unavailable, and I should try calling back, but she has no clue when they are available.
I then asked her how that makes any sense, that there are no specific hours when one can call, and they don't want to even give me a call back.
She just apologizes, and then hung up the phone.

I would HUCA. Retention dept basically doesn't exist with Citi ATM.

Does the priority pass card still work even after closing the Prestige card? The priority pass is good for 3 years.

If I add an authorized user for the prestige card can that user also get the global entry reimbursement? Or is it just for the primary cardholder?

Reading between the lines here, but does this signal a cooling of relations between citi and aa? If so this could be a good thing as citi may pursue united or delta as a transfer partner instead of aa...
Of course it is, but the other party is Barclays.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm trying to determine whether to keep my card for next year or not. I got my card in November 2015 but signed up for CG in late December. Then prorated AF was refunded and new $350 AF was charged on 1/26/16 statement. The description says "membership fee Jan 16 - Dec 16".  Does this mean that next year's AF will also post on Jan 26, 2017?

I have a 5-night Hyatt stay in February 6-11, 2016. If I book this stay with my Prestige card, how likely will I get the 4th night free reimbursement in time to cancel by 2/25?

FWIU If the refunded AF was a prorated refund, the new charge resets the year. In that case you would have until 3/3/17 to get your money back.

It makes sense the next AF would post 12 months from the prorated AF, but I find it confusing that the details say "Jan 16 - Dec 16". I guess this means the statement starting Jan 2016 up until the statement starting Dec 2016.

Has anyone used the world elite mastercard benefits of the prestige, such as the upgrades on lufthansa? (detailed here https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/consumers/features-benefits/card-benefits/world-elite-travel-benefits.html )

Can you still cancel refundable ticket and retain $250 credit?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
