They do send it out pretty fast, in a FedEx envelope, similar to the Amex platinum

Just FYI from my reading on FT, you will have to call the concierge and they will have to conference you in with the travel agency they use to book it when its last minute.

Well yesterday I applied, was approved, but it takes them 24-48 hours for account to open and create a card number. Then they can overnight it, unforgettably it will be too late for me. Bummer!
Btw, if I buy a refundable ticket for $250, will I get the annual $250 credit if I refund the ticket? If yes, how long do I need to wait to refund the ticket?

IME yes. I waited for the credit to post before I refunded the ticket but I doubt you have to

I just did it, no issues. Just added them as the second guest, they didn't have my card.

I don't agree with the math of those claiming 2x250 justifies the 450. The first 250 can be obtained without spending the AF, so it's not relevant to the decision which is between choice A) pay 450, and wait to get the second credit (lose 200) or B) don't.

Good point! To get the annual fee reimbursed do i need to cancel or can i downgrade to the cheaper version of this card?

When my $250 credit posts, does that come off from my $3k spending towards the signup bonus?

How many days can you use this card before you can't cancel and have the annual fee refunded.

Any chance of being blacklisted by Citi or having the points clawed back if you cancelled after receiving the points but early enough to have the annual fee refunded to you ?

Depends when the fee posts - you get the full fee refunded if you close within 37 days, and prorated after that (I believe).

YMMV as always but realistically, no chance.
