24 months extended warranty, even if the original warranty was only six months. Wow
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Had my AF on this card WAS $350 from $450 because I opened  Citi gold checking last year. My AF on the card is coming up very soon and will it still be $350 because I still have the gold checking open?

Thanks

I have read that even when people downgrade their Citi Gold, they still get the lower annual fee. Seems like a glitch.

List of all changes by DoC

Pretty amazing, almost no reason to keep the Platinum anymore IMO.

Based on this, it would be better to use a Citi Premier card for airline tickets, instead of Amex gold, as they both have 3x points, but Citi has better insurance, no?

What happens to Extended protection if one cancels or downgrades the card after making the covered purchase?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

If you cancel your coverage ends.

So is it really justified to pay Prestige AF beyond the first year? First year was no brainer with $250 airline credit each calendar year and GE application fee, but what does one do after it has been maxed?

If you have a CG account each year should never be more than $100 (pretty standard AF).

But dosn't the CG account cost money if you don't have a balance of $50,000?

You'll have the CG benefits even after you cancel the account.

For how long does one need to have a CG account?
