Just got the AF?
Any reason to keep this card open? No more Admirals and I already used the $250 airline credit.
(does Citi prorate AF or only have 30 days like Amex?)
TY

They usually prorate, you can also try retention.

4th night free can more than pay for $200 fee in some cases.

If card was used to pay taxes for someone else's ticket. Are they covered with the card insurance for travel weather delay? AH did not travel on the ticket.

I bought a refundable Delta ticket, and now Delta emailed me that it's not refundable.

Strange part is they wrote "We’re sorry you couldn’t use your ticket as planned. Since your ticket was issued with a nonrefundable fare or document, the value can be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket."

If it was a regular non-refundable, wouldn't there be a significant surcharge to change the ticket? How can I prove to them that it was refundable ticket?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

from the original confirmation email?

The original ticket does not specify. The only language in the original email says

"this ticket is non-refundable unless the original ticket was issued at a fully refundable fare. Some fares may not allow changes. If allowed, any change to your itinerary may require payment of a change fee and increased fare. Failure to appear for any flight without notice to Delta will result in cancellation of your remaining reservation."

I just spoke to Delta (call back), and the refund department says that they see that it's a refundable, and are unsure why I was not approved originally for the refund. Has anyone else had similar experiences with Delta of them leading you to believe it's not refundable. I pretty upset. Many people would have assumed they made the mistake, and lost their money. Totally unacceptable.

Prestige and Premier cards' AF just hit. Would they waive it? Any point in keeping these cards? No, I don't play golf. ;)
Thanks!

Does it start your 24 month clock again if you DG.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

So if I cancel, is there a way to hang on to my TYP? Any other ideas?
