Don't blame them for you not following up on it. I didn't even have to follow twitter (don't have an account). I just used the promo code when it came out. The code was available from around 5 pm EST to like 12 am EST

The part you failed to do was follow "the deal" long enough to get the code and use it. It was posted on every deal site out there.

This is a good deal, all the others dont have the actual score used by lenders, I got score  and cancelled, total time 10 minutes.

Me too. I got the confirmation via email before I even hung up (she was telling me something about a 25% off coupon, FICO25 or something).
