I can sense it in the air. Dan's gotta be writing a DDMS post about the Browns now.

KC's still got this. And better to get Mahomes out so as not to further aggravate the apparent foot injury.

Pitting KC against Cleveland my first thought was of the Eleff home... Of course, the wife wins :)

Can't believe this thread hasn't been updated in 10 days. No comments about either championship game? Predictions for SB 55? As someone born and raised in KC, the Chiefs looked lethal in dismantling the Bills, but the Fisher injury has me worried about their already improvised OL holding up against the voracious TB pass rush.

Prediction: KC wins this one handily. Mahomes/Reid go on to win numerous super bowls, but ultimately retire one short of Brady/Belichick. All thanks to Dee Ford.

https://www.espn.com/blog/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4822571/patriots-incredible-spending-almost-matches-price-to-buy-team-in-1994

Quote
When Robert Kraft purchased the Patriots in 1994, he paid $172 million, the highest price for a professional football team at the time.

This came to mind when looking for the best way to highlight how unprecedented the Patriots' current offseason spending spree has been. When it comes to guaranteed money, the Patriots have nearly matched the total that Kraft bought the team for 27 years ago.

Accounting for 16 of the Patriots' 19 signings and re-signings, they have guaranteed about $162.5 million. This doesn't include center Ted Karras, linebacker Raekwon McMillan, defensive tackle Montravius Adams and trade acquisition Trent Brown, as the details of their contracts are not yet known. That smashes the prior NFL record of $147.2 million, set by the 2020 Dolphins. The 2019 Jets, with $131.4 million spent, had been No. 2 prior to the Patriots' binge.
When you find yourself agreeing with me more often than not, it's time for a cheshbon hanefesh.
