To be honest my renters came out free. I am saving  $12/m on my auto and I am paying $11/m gor renters. Go figure!

Im saving $13.80 per 6 months by having both together. Are you sure you are saving $12/m with geico for the multiline discount?

Geico doesn't do renters insurance directly. They sub it out usually to Liberty Mutual, Homesite, or Assurance depending on the area. So their "multiline" discount isn't as big as other companies that are underwriting both policies directly.
