Anyone confirm that the NJ is starting legal sports betting online at the end of November 2013??
Online casino games are supposed to be launching this month within NJ (meaning they're supposed to be set up to only allow users that are logging on from within NJ). The thing that got the ball rolling was a ruling from the DOJ that the federal law only restricted sports betting, not casino games, so it's unlikely NJ will get sports betting (especially in light of the recent developments bentch posted).
After Black Friday (the poker world version, not the shopping version), there was no online gambling for those in the US. There are now some sites that work only for users within Nevada, and NJ is setting up the same thing. More interestingly though is that in Nevada, gambling is legal throughout the state. But in NJ, it's only legal in AC. So they have to host all the servers for the company in AC for it to be legal.
