I believe such behavior violates DDF's T&C.

so the question is if in the future one could have some type of algorithm, programmed in, to figure out which card is the best for which transaction, similiar to one of dans "which card is best to spend on" posts.
i walk up to the gas station, swipe my card, and coin figures out the cpm, and bonuses, etc, and chooses the correct card for the transaction.

The Pick2Pay app is pretty close to this. Link: http://www.pick2pay.com/. You can customize it to put your own valuations on different points and then it tells you how much you are getting per $ spent depending on the retailer. It's not perfect, but a decent start at the concept.

Some points are valid, and a concern, yet, other points are abused, such as they don't want to be responsible.
Is amex responsible if your card cannot be swiped ?

Scary is the fact that it cannot be recharged, yet uses Bluetooth etc.

It's still in prototyping. They may still change things up. Not likely though

Don't know, but I got fed up with delaying things and asked for a refund.

After Apple pay, this is toast
With softcard, they still had a chance cause only geeks used it but with Apple pay announced, even though it will be a while for stores to get NFC terminals, people won't buy technology that goes backwards..

I don't see anyone with an iPhone buying a coin, and I would imagine the Apple Pay technology will be implemented on Android devices pretty soon too.

I don't see anyone with an iPhone buying a coin, and I would imagine the Apple Pay technology has been implemented on Android at least 2 years ago.
