B. If your not going to tell anyone how to get a deal then don't bother posting. At the very least in your situation (whatever "insider trading" might be) common courtesy is to PM the deal if you cannot post it publicly.

I didn't post my comment yesterday to show off, or to make people mad. I was hinting that there is a way to still get it. If you can't figure it out then just pass on it please. why don't you PM the guy who put out his promo code to ask him how he got it for instance?

Question: did anyone try using the various free Staples photo paper with this printer? Any results worth noting?

Just wondering if this printer requires more expensive photo paper (not free after rebate) or whether the Staples paper is good enough....

For the rebates, did anybody use the return receipt (the green paper) at the USPS station? First timer here, so I'm worried about having the UPC code and everything else being lost. It's only $1.40 here, but just wanted to get other people's thoughts. TIA

I didn't use any kind of tracking or insurance - I sent in 12 rebates over the last few months - one went missing - emailed canon they told me to send in a picture of the inside of the printer where the the serial number is - 2 weeks later I had that rebate card back

There are also (2) back-up proof of purchase labels on the cardboard box that I would keep.
