i remember my father telling me that 20 yrs ago when their were really no kosher resteraunts in toronto ,that he was sitting with his partner in the office one morning , and were craiving cornbeef sandwiches from essex on coney, so they called up ner yisroel yeshiva in toronto got a hold of a bochur payed his ticket to ny, and sent him to essex on coney to pick up some 50 sandwiches, and had them back for supper.i guess those were the crazy days. but i assume times have changed , people dont praise essex anymore
