I have that exact one as well, yes it only requires 1 hand to attach/detach and it grips the window like crazy. But with the mountek which is magnetic it is even easier. You can remove your phone from your pocket while driving with just 2 fingers and just place it in any orientation near the mount and your good.The other requires a little more concentration and effort.
The other advantage of the mountek which i personaly prefer is that it mounts in the cd slot, not on the windscreen. this makes using your phone a lot easier as its right near your finger tips as oppose to lifting your hand up to the windscreen.

Yes, but if you change cds often this isnt the most practical solution.

Most phone holders require 2 hands to attach the phone, some work with one, but the magnetic one I have is by far the easiest to attach and detach the phone. Can place the phone on the holder while holding it with 2 fingers, and it doesnt require any fiddling or to be precise as to where place it.
Even the suction system the op mentioned in the other thread requires fiddling and force to attach/detach it.

Good question, with a regular case you can stick the super thin metal plate between the phone and case to make it not visible and it works great, but I guess you are asking if the magnetic grip will stretch the silicone case, right?

Well actually coming to think of it if you use the 3m tape to stick the plate to your phone back (as opposed to just having it jammed between the phone back and case, then it wont cause the silicone to stretch at all.
And if your asking if it will grip through a silicone case, yes it will.

No, driving an old car, have only a few keys, inside my coat, and my 2 phones inside my pockets (used to have 3, now only 3 when travelling). I'm using a wired headset, not Bluetooth.

Both phones are actually the same phone number: one is a Nokia C5, I use just for talking, and the other one, a note2 is for all besides talking.
