@op, if you want to know if flights are still good. just go to ba and check, if they are still good now they should stay fine unless they are for after the date on bottom of letter they sent you. To get your account back the only way to do it is by mail. Explain who it was for etc... The only thing is that if someone who flew on your account flew on another account they will not believe your letter, since they can see that one of the accounts were sold.

Well they ended up sending a whole package with every person that was ever booked out of that account, and waned a notarized signature that the account owner received no goods on exchange.

BTW BA officially allows family members at the same address to be booked on your account.

Address doesn't come in here. You can gift a ticket to anyone you know, as long you're not getting pait for that.

They sent the packet to the AH.  The AH needs to provide a notarized letter that he didn't receive anything in exchange for the points/miles.
