cant get into all my gmail accts

all 3 of my accts suddenly say username or password is wrong and following their instructions arent working could anybody  help me?

Usually if it was changed, it recognizes so, and you will get a response 'was changed xxx days ago.'  If you are not getting that message, perhaps somehow the wrong password is being used.  Have you tried another computer?

Just to eliminate that it is not something quirly like your keyboard not entering the right keystrokes to google's website (probably not that problem, but doesn't hurt to try).
Does your phone/tablet get gmail?  Is it still receiving?

My story, if it helps.

My son's ipod had his email logged in.  He completely forgot his password. 
On a computer, I hit 'reset password'.  He couldn't get into his recovery email either.  They asked a bunch of questions.
When did you last log in using the password.  when did you create the account.  Other questions I don't remember.
But one question was 'who do you email most often'?

So he emailed me at my 2 or 3 emails. Many times to each account , over a day or two. 
Then we tried 'password reset' again.  and they let him in to reset his password!

I found that they made me maker a new password for some older accounts which don't meet their curren standards
