For the record, I understood from my conversation with @AskAmex that it would work on existing cards.

Has anyone heard specific information saying that it wouldn't? Or is everything just inferences at this point.

We'll see if that really happens  but if kvetching works amex will be getting alot of calls!

I read through the thread but was not able to get clarity to the following 3 question.

1)Does this apply to MB Platinum?

2)Can I end my Prime membership, and then rejoin?

3)Does the Prime Account have to be in Amex cardholders name? ie can my brother use my Platinum to pay for Prime?
