flight to Hawaii and Los Angeles

I am looking to make a trip to hawaii from vancouver as well as spending some time in los angeles. i need to go anywhere from dec 22 to january 5 and not spending a shabbos in hawaii so i need to be in la for shabbos.
Please advise best and cheapest way to go about this I am awae its an expensive time of year, but if i can go with miles or something what would my options be?
