First of all, why post this in a thread that clearly has nothing to do with the q?

second, yes, book yourself a ticket on a full flight and if they ask for volunteers say yes. No secret to it, just have to be on a flight where they would ask for it

Much more difficult nowadays, they are much better at calculating overbooking. Even on post yomim tovim flights they rarely bump anymore
