car seat insert for infant. which is best?

I stopped off at a flea market and saw a Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat with base in great condition selling for $5! I grabbed it. (The unit sells on craigslist for 50-100 bucks) Anyway, it did not come with an insert for a newborn.

I imagine inserts are all pretty much the same thing. Does anyone know of any car seat inserts that are better for some reason?

We got the same chicco carseat 2+ years ago. A relative got it through craigslist. Excellent piece and base. Whats the issue? So someone used it before you? Assuming its in good condition its the same as using one that your older kid used. If you do get one second hand, make sure to remove the fabric and machine wash!

The one I just picked up is a year newer based on the sticker. It's just missing an insert.
