If I remember civ pro correctly (which I probably don't) then I think it's a bit mor complicated than that. I do remember something about minimal contacts with the US is enough to be brought to court here. But then again it's been a while and I try to stay the heck away from litigation.

they can, but the rates are pricing out on Amadeus different.

Insurance should reimburse for money spent. A hassle though.

I had to deal with insurance for a flight i couldn't make.

They needed all kinds of proof before they would review it and then send me a check.
