What are the odds I can change the outgoing flight to a week earlier?
Just noticed I booked the ticket to fly on 2nd day yom tov instead of a week before. :-[
Chances are limited to being with but your best option is going through the United callback number they seem to more reasonable. It is a valid reason that they may be able to accomodate.
I've gone through the call back number a few times (http://as00.estara.com/UI/guivalidate.php?rand=52d577a036cca) and United won't touch the ticket bec its on a different airline stock (701 ticket). Wideroe wants ~$1000 to make any changes. If I ask for a refund, they will only reimburse taxes ~$75 of my ticket. Any other options?

I have a ticket, two adults one infant but United doesn't see the infant was charged 10%..

Should I be worried that they might charge me more saying I didn't pay for the infant?

yes. Try to work it out before you fly so you don't have any surprises.

If you log in to your reservation on United.com it will probably show an offer such as 50,000 miles and $600 or some other figure (NOT a good deal!), on FlyerTalk certain users are reporting offers at the time of online check-in of under $1000 for MXP flights, perhaps less at the checkin machine...
All these fares are low fare classes (non pun intended)  ;D and can not be upgrade via United GPUs or SWUs (the usual upgrade instruments)...

so again if you want to upgrade, look at your reservation on United.com to see if there are any offers or hope for luck on day of travel...

It shows 35k miles and 600 :(

What do you mean by luck on day of travel? Do I check this online? or once I get there?

luck as in a better offer when you try to checkin online, or when you pick up your boarding pass from a kiosk at the airport... I got a similarly bad offer for my two flights, so need to see if it's worth it to pay Y+...  :-\ wish we could get it as Star Golds but no cigar...  :-[ :-[

Called United, they found the infant and his ticket number. All is good.

That's good. It's very dangerous to have a missing infant.

So I heard, but I also found the Wideroe confirmation in my email with the infants ticket number.

I am flying in Feb. TLV YUL via EWR and YYZ, EWR on return. I have Amex Plat and PriorityPass, should I get the United Explorer/Club card? I am flying with child, sister and her child and infant. Each stop-over is like 1.5 hours.

TIA!

Maybe info about this should be added to wiki?

Yes. I have PP and Amex but will I get charged for guests? Are there better lounges with UA cards? Anything else to know?

I see on United.com that extra luggage is allowed free if the ticket is purchased with their card. Will I get to have 70 pound suitcases instead of 50 (like biz pax)?
