Someone got notified that their cc was not working/authorized, so they followed the link that was sent to them and WALLA it ticketed 2 minutes later! But that's because the guys ticket was ready to be ticketed and so he had to do was update the cc.

No one got pushed up front, it was just some stupid n00b that didn't know what he's saying.
+1 I resubmitted my cc info for 2 reservations at 1:30am AND I also changed cc info on one of them. I was ticketed at 6am and they charged my original card

I want to get people's opinions on what i should do here. I got two sets of tickets for myself and the wife for the heck of it. We are traveling way too much around that time to be able to go on an additional two trips. If these tickets do get honored I dont really have much to do with them but they were insane prices (ewr-cdg $400 and ewr-mxp $127). I remember hearing about a trick to change the name on a ticket so id effectively be able to transfer it to anyone, is that accurate? If I can, Id keep the tickets and sell them if they get honored. Any thoughts?

You're the only one reporting any success out of dozens of people, and that's also after waiting 15 hours.

There are other signs that this doesn't work, like my tickets getting ticketed in a different order(not based on updating cc), original credit cards getting charged among others things.

In my mind that is indicative that there isn't one sliver of truth to it.

Not sure if anyone has a similar issue but please mention if you do. I got the email with my e-ticket # morning from wideroe, however when I view my reservation on united.com it still says this reservation has not yet been ticketed. (i wonder if it is because I had called United last night to add a middle name to the ticket)
