Did you get a 2 hour notification to re-enter CC info?

Yes - got an email that I had 2 hours to re-enter credit card info. A few hours before Chase also emailed me a fraud alert. I cleared it electronically, then re-entered cc info. Then I called Chase who told me that cc charge went through the 2nd time. I checked United (15 min after re-entering cc info) and the ticket was showing as confirmed and ticketed.
So basically doesn't make any sense to upgrade?
How do I check on united if the ticket was ticketed?

on homepage put in your confirmation number and last name and it would say it is still on hold or ticketed.
where can i find the meal selection on United.com? don't see it anywhere
