Some notes on my experience. Anyone with questions about name changes or infants may find this helpful. For 2 adults and an infant, Booked ewr-tlv at 1937 last pm.Was able to assign seats and add frequent flier number on United’s site shortly after.Etix issued at 0940 this am for all three of us. United reservation reflected the fact that the reservation was ticketed, but there was no mention about an infant. I called united to request a bassinet and bulkhead. Those requests were honored without any hitch. They acknowledged that an infant was on the reservation. Name change…My wife’s passport is still in her maiden name. I accidently booked her ticket in her married name. While on the phone with united, the rep said there were absolutely no options for changing her name.I emailed Wideroe with the PNR and eticket number, and this was the response I got.No big deal at this point, except for the trip to the post office and shelling out $$ for a new Passport. Huge thanks to Dan and the OP, we would have not been able to do this otherwise.
To cancel: need to cancel on united.com or wideroe?
United.com says it is non refundable.....DAN please help us out? I need to cancel in the next few hours and want to get my money back.....Anyone?!
I was able to cancel using the cancel link i got on the e-ticket.
Refund guaranteed?
I hope so, they sent me an email saying I'll be refunded. I canceled within 24 hrs.
Does it give you a choice to cancel individual tickets from the reservation or is it all or none?
What link did you use?
first article i see - Forbes.com
By all accounts, Widerøe appears to be honoring the sold tickets, at one point even adding servers to keep up with the load.
