Try square.
But make sure you go easy on it until you build up some history.

Why in the world would someone use square?

There is much cheaper prices out there
Everyone can give you a smartphone swiper
There in no CUSTOMER SERVES AT ALL

(If you are going to do less than 1000$ a month and NEVER going to key it might pay)

Amex charges for non for profits 2.9% and if you set it up as tuition it can get to 2.5%

A monthly fee is about 10$ so overpaying by 1-1.5% will only be worth it on very small account.

Banks charge a high set-up fee ($75 - $100) and then usually another $25+ monthly fee,
in addition to a percentage...

K - but Intuit only works with actual card swiping, right?

But, what if I have an online business -- works for that (or just mobile devices)?

I think you also get discounted rates based on the level of Quickbooks you have. Not sure about that.
